In early 2014, driven by a "back to the basics" desire, Mat Tam Tam (drums), Nick Le Cave (bass) and Marlen Stahl (guitar, vocals) began to rehearse under the archetypal formula of the power trio and took the ironic name of ZEBRA III. At the beginning of 2015, after recruiting a singer, ZEBRA III became ORGÖNE (but that's another story folks). The few tracks here (recorded "live" in rehearsal on a mini-disc stereo recorder, with overdubbed vocals, except for "Lon Chaney Jr" and "Harar", recorded "live" in a professional studio), retrace the course of ZEBRA III.
The two sides of the band are to be heard there: proto-punk shots and long instrumental drifting impros.
Raw, lo-fi but high energy.
